Rain overnight
and cooler this morning. A few
mechanical glitches made for a later than planned start for some.
As we turned
onto 102 North we bid Halifax farewell in the distance. Saw many
more dairy farms – must be thicker soil.
Rolling hills most of the day.
The Museum
of Industry in Stellarton was well worth the stop. Spent an hour.
Blue skies and water made for wonderful views of St. George’s Bay and a great pull-off, to soak in the beauty of St. Ann’s Harbour. Tried to take pictures from the moving rig when there didn’t seem to be a convenient pull-off.
“Welcome to Cape Breton” was a lucky shot.
As always we
are happy to see our campground at the end of a long drive (especially when we
were the last to arrive!). Tonight a
‘POTLUCK DINNER” at the barn, proved what good cooks we have as traveling
companions. It gave us some quality time
with different folks each time we gather.
