Day 42 - Rocky Harbour, Newfoundland

The day started out kind of damp and foggy.

The Grubes, Kitchens and DeLongs were headed for Gros Morne Western Brook Pond boat tour.

Along the way we saw Bake Apple berries, wild Iris and many other wildflowers.

After walking 2.8 km, we reached the boat, Western Brook Tours.

“Tin Man” in the face of the mountain.

“Blue Denim Falls”.  Some of the water is still from snow melting on the plateau above.

In 1994 there was a rock fall.

The park’s main fjord features cliffs of almost 700 meters above the coastal lowlands.

Lobster Cove Lighthouse.

We celebrated Günter and Sandy’s 50th Wedding Anniversary.  We had shrimp cocktail, pizza (moose, vegetarian and Italian), cake and champagne (or sparkling cider) for their toast.
